An upcoming feature-length documentary, Rikuzentakata examines the recovery of a small seaside Japanese town devastated by the 2011 tsunami. Spanning ten years, the film offers an intimate portrait of how a town rebuilds literally from the ground up but also how its residents overcome grief and learn to move on.
